Alpex-duo Alpex-duo, the superior multi-layer composite pipe for heating installations, consists of a butt-welded aluminium core with an inner layer of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) and an outer layer of high temperature stabilized polyethylene (PE). The three layers are permanently bonded together with a special adhesive designed for highest demands, excellent reliability and extreme durability. This multi-layer composite pipe system, which was specifically designed for heating applications, contains an extremely thin aluminium layer that meets all form stability requirements.
